Primary Election Day is Today. Polls Are Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. Election Day for the Primary Election is today, August 23. Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Election Day, voters may only vote in-person at their assigned polling place.

To find their polling place, voters can check their new voter information card, visit VoteAlachua.gov, or call the Supervisor of Elections Office between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. today at 352-374-5252. To find your polling place on VoteAlachua.gov, click the "My Registration Status" icon and enter in your first name, last name, and date of birth. The page will show you the address of your assigned polling place and an online version of your sample ballot.

The Supervisor of Elections Office is not a polling place on Election Day.

Vote-By-Mail ballots must be received at the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day. If you have not already put your completed Vote-By-Mail ballot in the mail, you can return the ballot to the Secure Ballot Intake Station located the Supervisor of Elections Office. The Secure Ballot Intake Station will be available today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election Day.

The Secure Ballot Intake Station available at the Supervisor of Elections Office is the only one available in Alachua Count on Election Day.

If you change your mind and decide to vote in-person on Election Day, you can bring your Vote-By-Mail ballot with you to your polling place to surrender it.

Voters must present valid photo and signature identification to vote in-person. To find a full list of acceptable photo and signature ID, please visit VoteAlachua.gov or call the Supervisor of Elections Office at 352-374-5252.
