[Logo of Alachua County] TEMPERATURE SCREENING GUIDELINES FOR THE PUBLIC ENTERING ARCHER CITY HALL
SCREENING PROCESS FOR CITIZENS:
These guidelines apply to all citizens entering the buildings of Archer occupied by employees during Phase 1 and Phase 2 of recovery.
Pre-screen
All citizens (including clients, vendors, contractors and the like) reporting to a City worksite will be screened by a designated employee before entering the designated entrance of each City building.
The designated employee will take everyone’s temperature using a City provided thermometer.
Employees and citizens should be wearing a mask prior to the screening. If the citizen does not have a mask, one will be provided by the screener if supply allows. Citizens with valid medical issues are exempt from mask requirements but must comply with all other requirements.
If a citizen has a temperature of 100.0 or above (Fahrenheit) or 37.8 or above (Celsius), they should be given instructions on how they can make arrangements with the County to access services but will not be allowed access to the building.
If a citizen refuses to have their temperature taken, they will not be granted access to the building.
Prescreening Questions after Clearing Temperature Screening:
Travel in the last 2 weeks out of the Country or to the following States; New York, Connecticut, New Jersey or Louisiana or to the following counties; Miami-Dade and Broward.
Do you have a cough, or shortness of breath or flu like symptoms?
Have you been in close contact (within 6 ft for more than a few minutes) with someone with confirmed COVID-19?
If a citizen answers yes to any of the above questions, they will not be allowed entry to the building.
If a citizen has concerns about not being allowed entry, please give them the business card of the City Manager. If the situation elevates please call 911.
Social distancing should be followed by everyone while waiting for the screening, or waiting for services.

Read all manufacturer instructions prior to use.
Thermometer should be placed within 1 inch of the citizen’s forehead without touching.
