The City of Archer is looking for two (2) dependable and hard-working people who will show up on time and report to shift every day for temporary employment. Flexible schedule. Must be able to pass a background screening. The is a drug free workplace.
Daily duties include mowing, edging, trimming trees and shrubs, pulling weeds, blowing, picking up trash, spreading mulch, chemical applications, debris removal, and maintaining healthy plants and trees.
Equipment to be used may include zero turn mower, edger, weed-eater, backpack blower, pole saw, hedge trimmer, city vehicles, tractor, rakes and shovels.
Experience, skills and abilities:
Experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to work individually or in a team.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
Valid driver license required.
Must be able to follow directions and procedures.
Ability to focus and complete tasks.
Must have attention to detail.
Capable of working in the heat.
Must always present a professional appearance and attitude.
