NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING A VARIANCE AS PROVIDED FOR
IN THE CITY OF ARCHER LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE
BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCHER, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the City of Archer Land Development Code, as amended, hereinafter referred to as the Land Development Code, objections, recommendations and comments concerning a variance, as described below, will be heard by the City Commission of City of Archer, Florida, at a virtual public hearing, held through the use of communications media technology, on August 10, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.
V 20-01, an application by David Sowell and Associates, as agents for Four Points Trading Company LLC, to request a variance be granted as provided for in Section 19 of the Land Development Code, to reduce the front yard setback requirement from 75 feet to 10 feet within a COMMERCIAL-2 (C-2) zoning district in accordance with a site plan submitted as part of a petition dated June 11, 2020, to be located on property described, as follows:

A parcel of land lying within Section 17, Township 11 South, Range 18 East, Alachua County, Florida. Being more particularly described, as follows: That part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 lying South of State Road 24 and lying Northeasterly of McDowall Street.
AND
The West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 lying Southerly of State Road 24.
Containing 5.03 acres, more or less.
The public is hereby notified that, due to the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the City Commission, will conduct a virtual public hearing, held through the use of communications media technology, on August 10, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard in accordance with emergency meeting protocols and procedures and shall not be conducted in person at the City Commission Chamber, City Hall.
The public is encouraged to participate in the public hearing, and should check the City of Archer website www.cityofarcher.com on the day of the public hearing for information on how to connect to the public hearing. 5:00 p.m. on August 6, 2020.
The public hearing may be continued to one or more future dates. Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time and place of any continuation of the public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing and that no further notice concerning the matter will be published, unless said continuation exceeds six calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced public hearing.
