City of Archer Welcome
The city of Archer is located in the southwest corner of Alachua County; an area known for its rich history and beauty. Located close to the University of Florida and home to the Santa Fe Community College Davis Center. Archer has one elementary school, a charter high school, and two private schools. Archer is also the home of the U.S. Victory Museum.

Archer, Florida, in Alachua County, is 14 miles SW of Gainesville, FL and 75 miles SW of Jacksonville, Florida.Part of the surrounding Gainesville metro area, the city is not an isolated city. Archer is home to some 1,300 residents.
