Gabe Green

Commissioner

Commissioner Gabe Green has called Archer home for 43 years. He grew up in Newberry and graduated high school there before attending the University of Florida, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Agriculture. He has served in the Florida National Guard and is a founding member of the Florida Society of Farm Manager's and Rural Appraisers. He had a 29 year long career in the Farm Service business and was then employed by JB Hunt Transport until 2008. He currently serves as the Chair of Trustees for the Archer United Methodist Church where he also enjoys being a member of the choir.

Commissioner Green was elected in the 2010 general Election and his term expires in 2014.
